Why Other Coatings Fail
Most standard ceramic coatings fail prematurely. They fail for a lot of different reasons, failure to perform the correct level of paint correction, improper or incompetent prep work, molecular mismatch with the paint work, issues with the paint itself (cheap or improperly mixed paint), not enough coating product used during the installation, improper installation techniques, and more. We developed our HD Bond process to ensure your ceramic coating not only bonds better than any other coating out there, but that it will outlast and out perform standard ceramic coating installations across the board.
Meticulous, Multi-Step Preparation Process
Everyone says they have a meticulous multi-step preparation process, we have an entire proprietary process. We do the same cleaning based steps that are standard throughout the industry, but we also do much more. When other shops are wrapping up with their preparation steps, we're just getting warmed up.
Polishing and Paint Correction
Clear coat paint is designed to protect the color base coat underneath and to help guard against UV and repel dirt and grime to prevent it from staining the color base coat. That means cured clear coat paint forms a harder outer layer of paint that is difficult to bond with. Paint correction is essential to "refinish" the outer layer of paint to expose "softer" bonding points for the coating to bond with.
The paint correction process also levels the paint making it look amazing, and also removes defects, stains, and oxidation that will also prevent the proper molecular bonding from taking place, leading to much shorter life spans for your ceramic coating.
This is where things get really cool and where we really start to separate ourselves from the pack. We've developed our completely proprietary installation process that utilizes our HD Bond Coat™ technology to alter the surface tension of the vehicle's paint work and increase the molecular bonding area for the coating and paint work to use to form their bond. The result is a much stronger bond and much stronger coating than a regular stand alone coating.
By introducing our HD Bond coat, we alter the native bonding points in the automotive paint. We create multiples of stronger bonding points the ceramic coating actually prefers over the carbon bonding points found in the paint work itself. Our proprietary process then "stacks" additional raw ceramic materials into each other, creating an incredibly dense, gradient that bonds exceptionally well nearer the paint work and forms an outer layer that is 10h+ in terms of coating hardness, and is essentially impenetrable for common chemical based exposure that leads to the majority of common coating failures.
