I’m Not a Marketer or Fancy Advertising Executive

Look, I’m not great at marketing. Maybe my blog, my content, is a little rough around the edges.

The truth is I’m not great at marketing. I’m great at ceramic coatings. I’m great at paint correction. I’m a nationally certified trainer who literally teaches other professional detailers how to do this work at the highest level. I helped found Certified Professional Detailers because I care about raising the bar for this entire industry.

But writing the perfect website copy? Finding the magic words that make you understand why we’re different? That’s not my specialty.

So here’s what I’ll say as plainly as I can:

You can get ceramic coatings anywhere. You can’t get Horizon Detail everywhere.

When you call other shops, they’ll tell you about “unparalleled gloss” and “ultimate protection.” Great, that’s awesome! We offer that too, but we also bring things to the table the other shops don’t.

• I have trained hundreds of detailers nationwide on ceramic coatings and paint correction
• I got my start with ceramic coatings in the product development, product support and testing side of things. Not on the youtube marketing videos side of things.
• I have over 35 years of experience working with automotive paint, I manage a private collection of over 35 classic cars representing over 100 years of automotive history, I have worked with every paint system under the sun, and lastly, I have over a decade of experience with ceramic coatings.

I’ve spent years developing HD Bond – our proprietary installation process. A process that involves introducing additional raw materials into the installation process, a process we have taught to other detailers and manufacturer hosted training events. Literally improving the industry standards. And I have over 60 five-star reviews from people whose cars I’ve actually worked on.

A lot of people talk the talk. I walk the walk.

Sure, it’s “just detailing work” – until we’re talking about someone with power tools grinding on your extremely expensive vehicle before applying a semi-permanent coating that’ll be there for years.

Then we’re talking about the difference between excellence, mediocrity, and outright disaster.
