I’m Not the Guy to Talk to About Metal Polishing
Let me explain…
Don’t get me wrong. I can answer your questions about polishing metal. I can actually do it pretty well, and I can certainly get you decent to great results in most cases. But if you have something advanced, something vintage, original, thinned out brass plating, or something that requires a true “master-level” approach?
I’m not your guy. And I’ll tell you that flat out.

My Obsession is Different
I’ve spent my entire detailing career dedicated to paint correction and automotive finishes. I’ve always been captivated by the depth, clarity, and gloss you could produce in paintwork. It’s just what I like to do. And for the last decade plus, I’ve been in a deep dive into the world of ceramic coatings. I haven’t just been “applying” them; I’ve been trying to understand them, testing proprietary chemical combinations and finding ways to push the limits of what protection can actually do.
When it comes to making paint look deep, flawless, and indestructible? That is who I am. I am the Paint Guy.
Knowing Where the Line Is
If your car has some light brightwork that needs a refresh, I’m a detailer, I’ve got you covered. That’s not what this is about. I think you get that. But there’s a massive difference between “cleaning up trim” and the high-level restoration of:
- Heavily oxidized raw aluminum.
- Delicate nickel-plated finishes.
- Century-old brass finishes.
I can make those things look better, sure. But if you are looking for perfection on those specific surfaces, complete refinishing, I’m going to bow out. That’s just not what I do.
The Mark of a True Expert
I believe what sets a true professional apart isn’t just knowing how to do the job. It’s knowing where to draw the line. Where to shift from service provider to solution provider. In this instance, I know I’m not the right solution, but I also know I can connect you with someone who is.
“An expert is someone who knows exactly who to call when the task falls outside their wheelhouse.”
I have spent years building a network. If your project needs something outside of my wheel house, I won’t just say sorry, I can’t do it. I’ll help you find the person who can. Because at the end of the day, my goal isn’t just to take your money; it’s to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for and your car gets the expert care it deserves, whether that’s from my hands or another specialist I trust.
