Mark's RAM 3500
Mark's RAM 3500 is in for some work on the vehicle's paintwork. There are holograms from the finishing marks left over from a previous polish throughout the vehicle we are looking at and remediating. We'll get her looking right as rain.
The first step with every project is our thorough multi step deep clean and decontamination. We'll wash the vehicle top to bottom, give her a nice exfoliating clay treatment. We'll chemically decontaminate the exterior as well leaving behind nothing but pure paintwork. After that we'll do our inspection process, take paint depth measurements, and formulate a plan of attack and make any recommendations we may come across during our inspection. Stay tuned!
Inspection Pictures
These are some of the inspection pictures taken after washing the vehicle. Holograms are present throughout the vehicle as well as deeper damage underneath the holograms likely due to automated car washes and possibly refinishing marks from deep\aggressive compounding.
The single step correction we currently have scheduled will absolutely fix the holograms, bring about a very nice, rich depth to the paintwork, and help to blend in some of the deeper marks under the holograms.
In order to repair the paintwork completely and remediate\remove up to 90-95% of the deeper damage, we would need to do a two-step correction which involves an aggressive compounding stage to level the paintwork and smooth out the deeper damage. Followed by a very nice finish polish to iron out the finishing marks and really bring out the depth, gloss, and clarity. The single step correction will leave behind approx. 50% of the deeper stuff.
Below are a selection of our inspection pictures showing the current condition of the vehicle's paintwork. We recommend a full two-step paint correction to restore the paintwork to a 95% better finish and take years off her appearance.
